Diabetes Feedback: It’s mainly all sugarfree food. And instead of white bread/wheat bread….white rice/brown rice, etc….It’s a good idea to eat like a diabetic would. They have so much sugar free stuff out there too, and you can’t even tell the difference with most of it.

Diabetes Feedback: the diabetic diet is just when you don’t eat anything with sugar and you really have to watch your carbs. other then that thats it and believe me i know because my little brother is a diabetic and i have to take care of him all the time .

Diabetes Feedback: It’s not just eating things that are sugar free. There are lots of foods that are advertised as sugar free, but if you check the amount of carbs, they are sometimes higher than regular foods with sugar. I look at the amount of carbs in each serving for all foods. I am permitted 45 carbs per meal and 15 carbs for mid morning, mid afternoon and evening snacks. It is better to eat a smaller amount more often, than a big meal. You want to try to keep your blood sugars stable, and avoid peaks and valleys. I do cheat sometimes though. It’s cheating frequently that gets you in trouble.
