What is your opinion on the Medtronic insulin pump?

Can you answer Jackie May’s question about Diabetes?:
In the last few years i have been looking at insulin pumps, just on friday i found out that the BC. Government is FINALLY funding insulin pumps for kids. Anyways, they are only funding aprox. 200 per year but i had gotten my name on the list right away. The pump that they are funding is the Medtronic insulin pump, i have seen this pump before but i was just wondering if anyone on here has the same pump, and what is your opinion on it? Pro’s/Con’s?

Diabetes Feedback: It’s amazing, it is the one majority of the kids get in the hospital I go to and I have it too but currently I am off it as I was being a stupid head and playing with my levels.
Diabetes Feedback: I have a Medtronic insulin pump and have used their pumps for 10 years. The pump can work with a continuous glucose monitor that I am currently looking into getting, but you can use the pump without that CGM part if you want. I haven’t had any problems with it, and would recommend it to others, but there are also other great pumps on the market. I hope you get one! I love having mine. It makes being diabetic a little easier.
