Can you answer Carrie’s question about Diabetes?:

So I know that strenuous exercise causes blood glucose levels to decrease. However, how does the body respond to this stress that there is not enough glucose in the blood?

    Diabetes Feedback: when blood glucose level decreases,liver which is a glycogen storehouse converts glycogen to glucose and releases it into circulation. further energy[ATP molecules-energy currency of body] is obtained by TCA cycle with substrates as fat and protein degradation products.

    Diabetes Feedback: I get shakey. like I’m really nervous, and I’m still breathing fast like I’ve been running. May or may not feel like I’m loosing my balance.

    Diabetes Feedback: if your diabetic they are called hypo’s
    i get reallly hungry and eat loads i get emotional and grumpy. i take hypos badly :( x

    Diabetes Feedback: if there isnt enought glucose.. ketones will be present in the urine. BUt i dont think excersising would be that drastic
