Does anyone know of an over-the-counter remedy for Restless Leg Syndrom?

Can you answer catlou9’s question about Diabetes?:

I take meds for diabetes and high blood pressure and don’t want to take more prescription meds if possible. Also, I don’t drink coffee before bed. I work till 11pm - alot of moving around, including stooping and reaching, etc. Don’t know if that would contribute to the problem.

Diabetes Feedback: Yes. There’s a product called “Restful Legs” you can try. If you’re female, you can also try an iron supplement. Men can try it too but women tend to be low on iron more often than men.

I take iron daily for my anemia which has the added benefit of preventing my RLS.

Diabetes Feedback: Most question if there is such a disease called restless leg syndrome or if it was just a marketing ploy by the makers of Requip. Requip just went generic. Mind you, it is a drug normally used for Parkinson’s. There are no OTC remedies.
